Earlier today in the Packers Green & Gold Charity Softball Game at Fox Cities Stadium, Packers OLB Clay Matthews was hit in the face by a line drive off the bat of Lucas Patrick while pitching and was forced to leave the game.
Ian Rapoport first reported the peculiar injury and said Matthews was on his way to the ER after appearing to have a broken nose.
Matthews tweeted that he busted his nose up "pretty good" and will have surgery once the swelling subsides. "It was scary. You heard a little crack but I didn't know what it was.
