Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud might be in for a breakout season come 2025, but Pro Football Focus is being cautiously optimistic with his upside after a down sophomore campaign.
The website recently ranked all 32 starting quarterbacks entering the upcoming season, listing Stroud in the '3B Tier' as a "solid starter who needs more help." Coming in at No. 14 behind Green Bay Packers star Jordan Love and Tampa Bay Buccaneers veteran Baker Mayfield, Stroud was considered a candidate who could improve if he learned to play behind an insufficient offensive line.
