On a nightmarish afternoon for the Green Bay Packers, the team seems to have at least avoided disaster with wide receiver Christian Watson.
Watson suffered a chest injury after a scary landing on Jordan Love's first interception. He immediately left the game and reportedly went to hospital for scans. Thankfully, though, the early signs are encouraging.
First, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Watson flew home with the team. Shortly after, Watson's father, Tazim Wajid Wajed, posted on X (formerly Twitter) that he is "fine."
