It is theoretically possible that Jordan Love could still suit up for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. But in all practicality, that is the longest of long shots.
Head coach Matt LaFleur has been saying all week that he is not ready to rule Love out for Sunday’s home opener against the Indianapolis Colts, despite him suffering a sprained MCL less than a week ago in Brazil. He went even farther on Thursday with his assessment of Love’s potential availability, but all realistic signs point to Malik Willis under center (or, more likely, in the shotgun) when the two teams kick off.
