The bubble is about to burst. Tuesday is the NFL’s cutdown deadline, when teams must reduce their rosters from 90 players to 53. That deadline comes on the heels of the final week of the preseason, which means that players fighting to make the Green Bay Packers’ roster have just one more chance to impress.
That opportunity will come tomorrow afternoon in the preseason finale against the Baltimore Ravens, a game that followed a spirited joint practice between the two teams on Thursday. The Packers seemed to get the better of that practice, with all three offensive units putting up field goals in two minute drills while the Green Bay defense managed to hold Baltimore on their opportunities.
