Cheese Curds, 2/10: Packers kept penalties down in 2016 & are set up well for deep NFL Draft class

One of the positives that the Green Bay Packers have displayed over the last several years has been an aversion to taking penalties. Since 2010, when they went on to win Super Bowl XLV, the Packers are regularly one of the least-penalized teams in the NFL, and that trend continued in 2016.

As reported in one of today's Cheese Curds, the Packers finished among the ten best teams in the NFL in both total number of penalties called against them and in penalty yardage. Granted, the defense struggled down the stretch and maybe an extra grab here and there would have helped them avoid a big play or two.
