The Green Bay Packers feel like a franchise moving in a different direction. Despite a 13-3 season that ended in the NFC Championship game the Packers have continued to move forward with their plan to rebuild the organization’s infrastructure. This year’s draft came with a lot off scrutiny but, in my opinion, it supports the idea that the team had a very structured rebuild plan that started when the McCarthy era ended. Phase 1 was addressing premier positions of need, by signing young free agents that were approaching their prime years and could continue to grow and flourish in the years to come.
