The Cleveland Browns have seen gobs of their defensive linemen and linebackers miss time in training camp, and that has led to not only roster moves at the position, but to them bringing in more defensive talent for workouts with the Green Bay Packers coming to town in just two days.
Even after making a handful of minor roster moves, the Browns had five defensive players in for workouts on Wednesday. Among them were three linebackers and two defensive ends. None of the five have been signed to their 90-man roster as of yet, but we could see movement based on performances or injuries in their preseason opener on Saturday afternoon.
