Since the Cowboys embarrassed themselves and were eliminated from the playoffs last week, fans in Texas no longer have a rooting interest in the NFL postseason. There are plenty of individual players from Texas still playing though.
Just like last week when every playoff game featured at least one player who was a former Houston high school football star, there's tons of former Texas high school football stars still in action. In fact, three of the eight remaining starting quarterbacks - Patrick Mahomes, Matthew Stafford and Ryan Tannehill - are all from Texas.
Every team still alive in the playoffs has multiple players from Texas on their roster, but here's the biggest star from Texas on each team:
Packers: Aaron Jones, RB, El Paso Burges High School
