Mar. 2—MOULTRIE — One of Colquitt County's finest is leaving the Packers football staff.
Bull Barge, a popular member of the 2014 state championship team and the Packers' inside linebackers coach the last two seasons, has resigned to become the defensive coordinator at Worth County.
"I'm really sad to seem him go," said Packers coach Sean Calhoun, who was on the Colquitt County staff as an assistant when Barge was an outstanding linebacker.
"We are really proud of what he has done for us."
Worth County coach Jeff Hammond also was a Packers assistant when Barge was playing in Moultrie.
