The Giants and general manager Dave Gettleman made a couple of interesting trades in recent days with an eye toward upgrading their secondary and special teams unit. One was with the Houston Texans for cornerback Keion Crossen, the other with the Green Bay Packers for cornerback Josh Jackson.

The deal: Giants traded cornerback Isaac Yiadom to the Packers for CB Josh Jackson

Thoughts: It seemed like something might be up when Yiadom wasn’t on the field at the start of Giants practice on Tuesday.
