Amari Rodgers Sees Himself in Randall Cobb-Type Role for Packers

Clemson wide receiver Amari Rodgers caught the attention of Green Bay Packers fans when he picked his dream NFL scenario at the 2021 House of Athlete Scouting Combine Showcase. Away from the action, former NFL wideout Brandon Marshall asked Rodgers what his dream round and team would be.

“I’ll say second round to the Packers,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers’ comments made it hard not to imagine what his skillset would look like in Green Bay’s offense. He projects to be a starting level slot that can also be utilized on special teams. The Packers have lacked this type of player since Randall Cobb walked in free agency in 2019.
