NFL Media insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Sunday that “if Rodgers comes to the team with a request to play his 19th season elsewhere, sources say the Packers are open to working with the four-time AP NFL MVP on a trade.” Conversely, the Packers welcome the opportunity for Rodgers to remain a member of the Packers for the 2023-24 season if Rodgers decides that is what he wants to do, which Rapoport and Pelissero reported on Sunday and is the same message that general manager Brian Gutekunst delivered after the season.
