Ailing Packers offensive line in for test against new-look Commanders pass-rush

The offensive line of the Green Bay Packers is dealing with injuries coming out of Week 1, and an early test awaits in the new-look pass-rush of the Washington Commanders on Thursday night at Lambeau Field.

The Packers allowed pressure on only six of Jordan Love's 23 dropbacks in the 27-13 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday. But the victory was a potentially costly one -- right tackle Zach Tom departed with a hip/oblique injury and didn't return, and left guard Aaron Banks left with ankle/groin injuries. The Packers used newcomer Darian Kinnard and second-round pick Anthony Belton to replace Tom at right tackle, while 2024 first-round pick Jordan Morgan took over for Banks at left guard.
