The New Orleans Saints are an interesting case of a team that is both young and has a handful of key contributors that are aging. Despite the inexperience of most of their roster, the Saints are actually one of the older teams in the NFL.
PhillyVoice’s Jimmy Kempski recently released a study showing the average age of every NFL roster after the 53-man cutdown on Tuesday. New Orleans now has an average age of 26.26, which makes them the 20th youngest team. That could be a bit misleading, though, as the Green Bay Packers are the youngest team with an average age of 25.
