Green Bay Packers safety Adrian Amos was rock solid in 2020, which is why it is so baffling when people talk about him as a possible cap casualty.
There is ongoing speculation that the 2021 salary cap will go down- something that hasn’t happened since 2011, the year of the NFL lockout. The Packers are going to have to navigate this, and that may require some tough decisions.
“I’m expecting it to go down,” said Brian Gutekunst.
Gutekunst also called it a “unique challenge that the entire league is facing,” reminding others that Green Bay isn’t the only team dealing with a diminishing salary cap.
