Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday and to no one’s surprise, their 27-22 loss to the New York Giants in London was a prime topic.
Rodgers was humble and gracious in defeat, offering up praise for the Giants defense and coordinator Wink Martindale.
“I have a ton of respect for Wink. I think he’s a fantastic coach,” Rodgers said. “They’ve got a good scheme and they’ve got really good players. They’re aggressive. They come after you. They showed a lot of different pressures.”
When breaking down the game further, Rodgers singled out Giants nose tackle Dexter Lawrence and said he deserves more recognition in the media and throughout the league.
