Aaron Rodgers COVID-19 relief fund distributes over $500K in additional funds

The relief fund set up by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has distributed a second round of funding for businesses in Butte County, California.

The Aaron Rodgers Small-Business COVID-19 Relief Fund paid $578,000 in rent for 79 businesses in and around Chico, the North Valley Community Fund announced on Monday.

Roughly half of the funding for this second round of relief came from Rodgers’ two-week appearance as a guest host on the game show “Jeopardy!” The MVP quarterback also added another “large contribution” to the fund, increasing the total received by each business, according to the press release.
