A Missed Opportunity for the Packers in the Loss to the Falcons

If I told you, or if someone told me, that the Green Bay Packers would score 24 points on the road without three of their best offensive players, and would lose a fourth (Elgton Jenkins, who reportedly suffered an MCL sprain and will "have an MRI to determine the severity," according to Ian Rapoport) in the first quarter due to injury, you and I would likely think that the Packers would come away victorious and begin the 2023 campaign with a 2-0 record. Unfortunately, that did not happen in Atlanta on Sunday. The Packers squandered a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter as Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo made a chip-shot field goal with under a minute left to secure the 25-24 victory.
