MERRILL – It looks like good things come in pairs for a La Crosse man who won $30,000 from a lottery ticket he bought in Merrill, and for his wife who had just redeemed a prize that included Green Bay Packers tickets.
John Muenzenberger bought the top prize-winning Naughty or Nice Crossword scratch-off ticket Nov. 29 at the Kwik Trip store at 300 Pine Ridge Ave. on Merrill's east side, according to a news release from Wisconsin Lottery. At the time, he and his wife were on their way home from a Packers game they attended the previous day.
