The Green Bay Packers set their first 53-man roster on Tuesday. General manager Brian Gutekunst had to release 32 players and place six others on various injury list to trim the roster from 91 players to 53. But the work isn't done. Teams can make waiver claims on Wednesday, so the roster is subject to immediate change. And for the 32 players released, 16 practice squad spots will be filled starting Wednesday, so a return to Green Bay is not only possible, but likely for most.
