The previous four NFC North champions have all failed to retain their title the following season. That includes the Green Bay Packers when they won the division in 2016. But that’s all about to change. The Packers will retain their NFC North crown this season, and I’ve got five reasons why.
That’s not to say it will be easy. Far from it. The competition in this division will be strong again this year. We already know how good the Minnesota Vikings are, and they’ve added talent on both sides of the ball in the offseason. But a team to watch closely will be the Detroit Lions.
