Jermichael Finley Injury News: Latest Update Says Finley's Injury "Significant", May Not Return in 2013

Green Bay Packers TE Jermichael Finley suffered a serious injury against the Cleveland Browns that landed him in the ICU on Sunday night, and the latest news on Finley's injury isn't good. Finley took a hit from Browns safety Tashuan Gipson in the fourth quarter, and remained down before being immobilized and brought off on a stretcher.

Finley couldn't move, although some reports said he had feeling in his extremities after he went down. The Packers player spent the night in the intensive care unit at a local hospital, and while Finley has fortunately regained movement in his extremities the latest prognosis on his injury is not promising.

The Packers are reportedly not expecting Finley to return in 2013. The injury was the second time Finley has been forced out of a game this year - he was concussed back in week 3 when Bengals safety George Iloka hit him in the helmet.

Finley had 5 catches for 72 yards and a touchdown at the time of his injury. He's caught 25 passes for 300 yards and 3 TDs on the season.
