The Packers rumors around who the Green Bay Packers will select in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft continue to grow. The Packers have the 14th overall pick of the draft and after finishing 7-9 last season, Green Bay has plenty of holes that need to be addressed. Green Bay is a team that focuses on the draft and pushes free agency to the side, so it will be interesting to see who is rumored to the Packers in the draft. The Packers quest to get back on top of the NFC North will be impacted in the draft, here are the three biggest positions of need for the Packers in the first round of the NFL Draft.

1.) Offensive Guard
Green Bay would be smart to invest in keeping QB Aaron Rodgers upright - especially considering how his injury sunk their season last year. They have the outside of their offensive line locked but need to improve the interior, which will help their running game. Packers fans should have their fingers crossed for OG Quenton Nelson from Notre Dame.
2.) Cornerback
The Packers are in desperate need of finding a shutdown corner after they surrendered the 23rd most passing yards in the league last season allowing 236.8 yards per game. Green Bay ranked tied for 20th in the NFL with only 11 interceptions and adding a top cornerback should help them force more turnovers. A player to monitor in the first round for the Packers is Ohio State CB Denzel Ward.
3.) Wide Receiver
The Packers may need to decide between 32-year-old Jordy Nelson and 27-year-old wide receiver Randall Cobb regarding which one they want to keep for 2018. If the Packers decide to cut one of their veteran receivers, they may look to add a wide receiver in the draft. A player whose stock is falling is Alabama WR Calvin Ridley and if he falls to the Packers at 14, they may pull the trigger.
