On Wednesday, Peter Zimmermann became the fourth baseball player from San Jacinto College to commit to Missouri.
Zimmermann followed Tuesday's announcement from reliever Trey Dillard with a tweet Wednesday morning announcing his commitment for 2019. Teammates Jacob Cantleberry and Jake Matheny — son of Cardinals manager Mike Matheny — committed to MU in 2017.
Zimmermann hails from St. Louis and attended Chaminade College Prep. He originally signed with Tulane, but ended up heading to Saint Louis University. His freshman year of 2017, Zimmerman played in only six games for the Billikens because of injury. He then transferred to San Jacinto.
