The No. 1 ranked Gonzaga men’s basketball team defeated the Santa Clara Broncos 81-69 in the final regular season game at the McCarthey Athletic Center.
Senior night was filled with many special guests. Orlando Magic point guard Jalen Suggs, Detroit Pistons forward Kelly Olynyk and Memphis Grizzlies forward Killian Tillie were all present in The Kennel to honor the seniors honored Saturday, which included the likes of guards Andrew Nembhard, Rasir Bolton, Matthew Lang and Will Graves, as well as team managers Miguel Angala and A.J. Few.
“[Senior nights] are emotional,” GU head coach Mark Few said after the victory.
