Gonzaga Bulldogs sophomore guard Zach Norvell is one of 20 candidates for the 2019 Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award.
The award is named after Jerry West, and, for the past five years, has honored the top two guard in the country. In mid-February, the watch list will be narrowed to 10 candidates. Eventually, one of five finalists will be awarded the trophy during the ESPN College Basketball Awards Show, on April 12.
Norvell was named the WCC Newcomer of the Year last season, averaging 12.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.
