On senior night and their final game of the regular season, the Gonzaga Women’s basketball team (24-6, 15-2 WCC) had a dominant 83-62 win over the Loyola Marymount (LMU) Lions (9-18, 4-13 WCC) at the McCarthey Center on Saturday.
Being senior night at the Kennel, the Zags took time to honor seniors Virjoghe Anamaria, Abby O’Conner, Kylee Griffen, Melody Kempton and Cierra Walker before and after the game.
“I’m kind of in shock. Everybody always says time flies but you don’t feel it till you’re at the end,” said Kempton. “I’m super happy with how my four years went and the season that we’ve had this year.
