INDIANAPOLIS — Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman buttered both sides of the bread when it came to addressing Super Bowl LII hero Nick Foles' future with the team.
On the one side, Roseman made sure to praise his team's Super Bowl MVP and give him the proper deference in what is a slightly awkward situation right now. On the other, Roseman also didn't exactly tamp down any talk about the team possibly trading Foles when the time is right — or more aptly, when Carson Wentz is healthy.
“We are trying to keep as many good players as possible," Roseman said Wednesday from the NFL scouting combine.
