What to expect for Wisconsin football on National Signing Day

Wednesday’s National Signing Day is likely to be a quiet day for the University of Wisconsin football team as it frequently is becoming for the program.

Its 2022 recruiting class could add a new member from the high school ranks, but the bulk of the class already has signed letters of intent. The class of 15 scholarship players ranks 47th in the country and 12th in the Big Ten Conference on 247Sports, while Rivals has it at 44th and 13th, respectively. The Badgers also have added five transfers this offseason and have 10 walk-ons committed. A recruiting dead period is in effect throughout the month of February, so coaches won’t be permitted in-person contact with recruits.
