The West Coast Conference has done a bit of rescheduling and the Gonzaga Bulldogs will now play the Pacific Tigers on Thursday, in Stockton.
The Zags were originally scheduled to play LMU and Santa Clara on this week, but both of those programs are currently on pause due to COVID-19 protocols.
When the week opened up, the scheduling train left the station. This week has been a week of wishing for high-profile opponents with near misses in the scheduling. One opponent many hoped for were the No. 5 Houston Tigers, who did not have a game scheduled for Saturday.
