In recent years, more top QB prospects have opted in favor of throwing, but one highly rated 2018 NFL draft entry reportedly is skipping that portion of this week's event. USC's Sam Darnold is not going to throw, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, opting to focus on team interviews and athletic testing.
The next time Darnold, who gave up the final two years of his eligibility to enter the draft, will throw will be at his pro day on March 21.
