The Seattle Seahawks are moving on from one of the franchise's most important players, Richard Sherman, who's been notified of his impending release.
Sherman, who turns 30 in less than three weeks, might be the best corner of his generation. The four-time All-Pro and Super Bowl XLVIII champion's boisterous, ball-hawking, balls-to-the-wall play style made him a fan favorite and formidable foe.
But Sherman's $13.2 million cap charge in 2018 and health after a ruptured Achilles in Week 10 snapped his streak of 116 consecutive appearances to begin his career signaled the end of his wildly successful and colorful Seahawks tenure.
