Might the Dallas Mavericks be intrigued by the Porter Family Package?
In its NBA mock draft, Bill Simmons' site The Ringer projected Michael Porter Jr. going to the Mavericks at No. 5 and Jontay Porter heading to Dallas in the second round with the 35th overall pick.
How convenient! While there was no mention of Michael Sr. joining the Mavericks staff, the family could move from Columbia to the Big D and set up shop there.
Could all that happen? Sure. But ESPN had the Mavericks picking Texas center Mo Bamba fifth overall with Michael Jr.
