Wake Forest’s football season will start with two Thursday night games in the first three weeks, sandwiching a Saturday game against a Football Championship Subdivision team.
Amid the announcements coming Thursday on game times and TV networks is that Wake Forest’s season-opening game at Tulane will be an 8 p.m. kickoff and televised by the CBS Sports Network. That game is Aug. 30, a Thursday night.
Previously announced games for the first three weeks are Wake Forest’s Sept. 8 game against Towson, which will begin at noon and be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. The Deacons will then have a quick turnaround, one of two they’ll face in the season, for a Sept.
