Texas A&M senior cornerback Nick Harvey announced Monday that he will pursue a master’s degree away from Texas A&M.
In a Twitter post, Harvey said the decision was made to “prepare for life after football,” but he said he will play his final season for another program.
“To Texas A&M University, I want to say thank you fro giving me an opportunity to play college football and to be able to make my parents proud by receiving my Bachelor’s degree at such an amazing university,” Harvey said in the post.
Harvey is coming off a medical redshirt season after suffering a knee injury that required surgery during a spring scrimmage last year.
