THE WORLD-HERALDServices for former Husker quarterback Dennis Claridge, who was Bob Devaney’s first quarterback at NU and led the program to its first bowl win, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Southwood Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
In a story that ran in Thursday’s World-Herald, it was reported that Tom Osborne was offensive coordinator while Claridge was playing. Osborne was a graduate assistant at that time.
Claridge was 76.
