Saints punter Thomas Morstead shifts campaign to Louisiana, has already raised more than $100,000

Saints punter Thomas Morstead raised $221,143 for the child life program at Children's Minnesota last week, all thanks to a spontaneous outpouring of support from Vikings fans who appreciated his sportsmanship and toughness in the playoff loss to Minnesota.

But Morstead hasn't stopped there.

At the urging of Children's Minnesota, Morstead shifted his campaign at the end of last week, focusing now on raising money for Louisiana child life.

Morstead has already raised $111,607 of a $300,000 goal, and he's got his sights set even higher.

Earlier this week, Morstead said he would donate $10,000 of his own money if the campaign crossed the $100,000 mark, and he'll also donate $50,000 of his own money if donations cross the $500,000 mark.
