A New Orleans wide receiver group that looked thin a couple of weeks ago is suddenly full of veterans with experience in the Saints offense.
New Orleans is bringing back wide receiver Brandon Coleman, a source confirmed to The Advocate on Wednesday, to extend the veteran's four-year career with the Saints.
Coleman, who opened the offseason as a restricted free agent and became an unrestricted free agent when the Saints decided not to place a tender on him, is coming off of a season where he played more snaps than he ever has before.
With Willie Snead playing a reduced role due to suspension and injury, Coleman rose into a more prominent place in the offense and played 650 snaps in the regular season, second only to Michael Thomas among the receivers.
