Andrew Thomas has not stood out to Georgia head coach Kirby Smart in practice so far this spring, Smart said at a press conference Saturday. And, Smart said, the fact he has not had to turn his attention to the team’s new left tackle is a good thing.
“It’s very quiet,” Smart said. “There aren’t a lot of issues there.”
“Quiet” seems to be the opportune word to describe the 6-foot-5, 320-pound offensive lineman. Tight end Charlie Woerner used quiet, along with “reserved,” to describe Thomas on Tuesday. And Thomas seems to see himself in that light.
