Pospisil: Where have Omaha's I-backs gone? Area rushers haven’t kept pace with the Huskers

In 10 of the 12 seasons between 1986 and 1997, an I-back from Omaha led the Huskers in rushing.

But as with national championships, it’s been a generation-long dry spell for Omaha’s best running backs being good enough to help the Huskers.
