NORMAN — It wasn’t so long ago Levi Draper was the No. 1 high school player on the Tulsa World’s All-World list.
After Saturday’s spring game in Norman, Draper was again on top, leading the Sooners with eight tackles.
OU linebackers such as Kenneth Murray and Caleb Kelly didn't play, which meant Draper's playing time was partially a result of injury.
Btu for Draper, it was a solid confidence boost.
Draper enters his redshirt freshman season in Norman after missing all of last year with a shoulder injury.
“I ended up going in, getting an MRI,” Draper told the Tulsa World at the Rose Bowl.
