Orgeron says LSU to name starting QB by end of camp, but 'we’re probably going to play two'

Could LSU have two quarterbacks next season?

In an interview Tuesday morning with a Shreveport radio station, coach Ed Orgeron said that it’s possible.

“Obviously we’ll name a starter at the end of camp,” Orgeron said on the Tim Fletcher Show. “We’re probably going to play two quarterbacks, but this thing is going to play out throughout the season.”

The quarterback situation was no clearer after LSU’s spring home game Saturday. Some have pointed to Myles Brennan as the favorite, but the spring game revealed that the sophomore has a serious challenger in Justin McMillan.
