Three former Zags were involved in NBA Summer League play on Monday in Las Vegas.
In his second Summer League game, Rui Hachimura picked up 19 points (6-14) and 7 rebounds for the Washington Wizards in a losing effort against the Brooklyn Nets. The Japanese forward started the game slowly, missing all three of his field goal attempts in the first quarter before finding his groove with an 11-point second quarter.
Similar to his production at Gonzaga, Hachimura did most of his damage at the free throw line (7-8) and from mid-range and in as he limited himself to two attempts from the three-point line without making either.
