Michael Porter Jr. talked of leaving a legacy at Missouri. It now can be discussed in the past tense.
Last year’s top-ranked recruit, whose freshman season was derailed by back surgery, played in only three games for the Tigers, leaving fans hopeful it was a sneak preview of what’s to come when Porter recovers and returns for a healthy sophomore season.
Keep dreaming.
On Monday Porter announced he will enter this summer’s NBA draft, using his Instagram account to break the news.
“Man, it’s been a crazy year, but I feel so blessed to be in the position I’m at,” Porter said in a 35-second video posted on his account.
