The Gonzaga Men’s basketball program was well-represented during the 2023 NBA and NBA G-League Draft Combines. Drew Timme, Julian Strawther and Anton Watson all participated in pre-draft combines and workouts for NBA organizations.
Timme and Strawther were the only Zags invited to the NBA Draft Combine this year, as Watson was not invited to the event. Watson participated in the NBA G-League Draft Combine, and a pre-draft workout for the Atlanta Hawks.
In addition to these GU players, there was further WCC representation in the NBA Draft Combine, with Pepperdine’s Maxwell Lewis and Santa Clara’s Brandin Podziemski both participating.
