Once again Sunday, when his team needed him most, Jaylen Brown buried bucket after bucket.
The Boston Celtics shooting guard who played for Missouri men’s basketball coach Cuonzo Martin at California scored 34 points against the Milwaukee Bucks. Not to mention, Brown grabbed eight rebounds.
The production is a continuation of Brown’s progression in his second NBA season. It's been a progression forced by injuries to Celtics guards Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart. Martin is not at all surprised.
“It’s not a case of let’s go shoot some hoops and whatever happens happens (with Brown),” Martin said Thursday.
