Missouri, Illinois renew Braggin' Rights football rivalry

Drew Lock will be just shy of turning 31 years old when Missouri football resumes the Braggin’ Rights rivalry in football.

The Tigers will play Illinois in football in 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029, Missouri announced Monday. The rivalry series will be played on each school's campus, rotating between Champaign, Illinois, and Columbia.

"This is another opportunity to renew a great football rivalry that we believe Tiger fans everywhere will be excited about," MU athletic director Jim Sterk said in a statement.

The two teams have not played since 2010, when the Tigers won 23-13 in St.
