With spring camp fast approaching, Missouri’s football roster saw four changes Monday as a team spokesperson confirmed the transfers of defensive back Jerod Alton, linebacker T.J. Warren and wideout Raymond Wingo, and the retirement of offensive lineman Pompey Coleman.
The news was first reported by Gabe DeArmond of PowerMizzou.com
Alton, a redshirt sophomore from Kirkwood, made nine tackles in 11 games in 2017. He spent the season primarily on special teams after redshirting in 2016. The three-star recruit chose the Tigers over offers from Iowa and Illinois, among others, in August of 2015, but failed to secure a consistent place on Missouri’s defense in his single season on the field.
