Gonzaga men’s soccer midfielder Christo Michaelson has signed a one-year deal with Major League Soccer organization, Reno 1868 FC.
Michaelson was one of four players to spend the preseason with Reno and earn a spot on the 2018 roster. All four players are USL Premier Development League (PDL) alums.
While at GU, Michaelson scored 10 goals and tallied four assists. He also played for the Portland Timber’s U-23 team in the PDL. Michaelson was a 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men’s All-Far West Region Third Team recipient, along with being named All-West Coast Conference Second Team.
